What to expect during the test
Three-day test
Closed-building will be established
You will be asked to sign a non-interference agreement to maintain closed home throughout the duration of the test
Equipment will be setup and testing begins
Digital report will be provided
Closed Building Conditions
WINDOWS are closed
DOORS are closed except for normal entry and exit
WHOLE HOUSE and WINDOW FANS do not operate
HEATING and COOLING SYSTEMS operate as normal
FIREPLACES do not operate
EVAPORATIVE COOLER do not operate
CLOTHES DRYER operate as normal, avoid excessive operation
BATHROOM FANS operate as normal, avoid excessive operation
KITCHEN RANGE HOODS operate as normal, avoid excessive operation
AIR-TO-AIR RECOVERY VENTILATION SYSTEMS set to lowest setting
Required 12 hours before and throughout the duration of the test
Required for the whole house including areas not being tested
